In George Miller’s “Furiosa,” Anya Taylor-Joy plays the lead role in the prequel to 2015’s “Mad Max: Fury Road.”

Furiosa isn’t holding back in her pursuit of independence.
The new trailer for “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” a prequel to the sci-fi action movie “Mad Max: Fury Road,” starring Anya Taylor-Joy as a younger version of warrior rebel Furiosa, has been released. George Miller is the director of the film.
“Whatever you have to do, however long it takes, promise me you’ll find your way home” is a chilling voiceover that plays as Furiosa looks across a barren wasteland in the trailer, which was released on Thursday.
Furiosa is kidnapped from the Green Place of Many Mothers in this dystopian action-adventure, and she finds herself in the hands of a Biker Horde under the command of the Warlord Dementus (Chris Hemsworth). As Dementus becomes entangled in a struggle for supremacy with The Immortan Joe, Furiosa tries to find a way out.
Through gripping action scenes, Furiosa and Dementus maneuver through one in which Furiosa skillfully fires a harpoon against an adversary.
At the conclusion of the video, Dementus asks Furiosa, who is dressed like a motorcycle, “The question is, do you have it in you to make it epic?”
Featuring Charlize Theron as Furiosa, Nicholas Hoult, Tom Hardy, and Zoë Kravitz, “Mad Max: Fury Road” was released in 2015 and is the prequel of the next film. Six Academy Awards were given to the movie in 2016, including the greatest accomplishment in visual effects and best achievement in film editing.
